Ashley Field began to show an interest in photography at an early age and has been a practicing photographer for over six years. Throughout her work, she shows an interest in using photo manipulation to place the viewer in a new environment that evokes feelings of nostalgia and bittersweetness. Ashley's work echoes feelings of absence and loss. In each of her photos, it's as if someone or something is missing. 

Ashley graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a BFA in photography and a specialization in book arts in 2016. Ashley currently lives in El Paso, Texas.
